Painting made fun Preschool

Puffy paint

You do not have to spend a lot of money or time to make your toddler gain back their lost interest in coloring. Kids loose interest in crayons and colored pens. Try this:

you need:
1/2 cup shaving foam
1/2 cup Elmer's+ glue
2-3 drops food color of your choice
1-2 paint brushes from a hardware store. the medium sized brushes work well with tiny tots.
(you can even use plastic knife or spoon for the tiny tots to use to apply paint.)
paper, old boxes, grocery paper bags for painting

1. Mix shaving foam, food color and glue.
2. paint is ready to use.
3. the paint does not stay too long so prepare just before use.
4. Give the art work 12 - 24 hours to dry.
5. The next day your little one will have a beautiful piece of art to proudly take to school for "show and tell"

In the attached picture, i made three colors: blue, green and pink. I gave my son a plastic knife to apply the paint on a used USPS box.
